looking for feed back, advice, ect. pretty much just starting from scratch. just discussing off session power adders when pretty much everyone said this would be the best upgrade for the money considering a roller cam conversion would cost even more. I have already gutted the engine bay and would have plenty of room underneath the birds front bumper for the cooler. not looking for any extreme amount of boost just a pretty sporty street car. already got 4 fans on the radator and would put two more on the cooler (if needed) got a tuned stock ecu (would that be tunable for the turbo) if not I have a mega squirt I just need to finish putting together. what else am I looking at? I have a dual 58 mm throttle body I'll be putting on it as well. Always have always will run premium in it (it it matters) non-emissions state. If I get kit I will also get a hydro flat tappet cam before driving. already have customer exhaust for shorty headers. not to worried about hood clearance but would like to clear stock hood. Anything I am missing any help is welcome guys.

Re: twin turbo kit feed back
fr the price of that kit its not worth it
for one those are the small hybrid turbos and the intercoller is to small, the stuff like the oil lines and electric fan are junk
everything else int he kit is ok
but for less money u could buy a pair of the larger ebay hybrids , 2 wastegates , 2 bovs, an intercooler kit, and a pair of headers and have a better cheaper kit

but throw away the bov and buy an ebay rfl bov instead , same witht he oil lines throw away the lines that come with it and buy some good quality pushloc or braided lines for the oil feed and return lines

Re: twin turbo kit feed back
that is alot better of the price but is it worth it for only a single turbo? how much does the other BOV run for and oil lines? that is alot better of a price I could do my rear end turbo roller rockers and cam all before tax return
. and also I have been told plenty of time that the block should be roller but isn't. so I dunno if it is a swap or not that would also explane the injectors from a 5.0L but all the bolts are metric and it's stamped 5.7L with a casting number that matches the year as well as saying it could be a 4 bolt as well is there a way to check minus pulling the oil pan? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

Re: twin turbo kit feed back
as an owner of both single and twin turbo cars , the single is far better on the v8 , with twin turbos u have 2x the piping/wastegates/oil lines etc so the costs add up quickly
that single gt45 turbo will make more power then the rest of the car can handle without some modding
to get the ebay rfl bov u will spend about 40 bucks
for good quality oil lines and drain lines u will spend 100-150 bucks

Re: twin turbo kit feed back
I am almost buying the first kit mentioned, but without the intercooler and turbo timer. I have a larger much better intercooler and he's gonna include the return lines for the turbos for 700 for me, so I'm likely to buy it. Then relocate the battery to the hatch and buy a battery cable kit, then cut a hole on both battery trays on either side and run my 3" tubin through one side, and maybe use a 2.5" to 3" y connection and put the two turbos together and run into intercooler up top. It will be much more bad *** having twin turbos than one big one, looks cooler, can handle more power, and come on, twin turbos is the ****.
Has anyone got any kits from speed daddy or eworld sales yet?
