Thanks,

all the info u need is in the manual on the jegs page

There are some important differences between these kits.
First, all Pro-Street kits listed above can be used on both
long and short water pump engines, depending on the
length of the blower. Short nose blowers will work on short
water pumps with up to 2 ìVî belts. The long nose blowers
will work on both short and long water pumps with up to 3
ìVî belts. To use an OEM of the aftermarket serpentine
drive, you will need to modify the lower drive pulley to get
the correct belt alignment.

Re: Will this supercharger work on my 305 TPI v-belt setup

thank you thank you. previously all my research on this site has led me to believe that the only setup that works is the Paxton SN series, and that supercharger sucks apparently; and is not available....

the instructions for installation make it seem like it's for carb engines only? is this so?

have u thought about turbos? i happen to have a set of twin turbo log manifolds for sale in the classified there were built to fit around the v belt setup

u can use that blower on ur car , u just remove the stock ecm and wiring , get a non computer control distributor and bolt it all on with a carb, u would need ot purchase an msd btm box or the new digital ignition box eithe rbox is in the 300$ price range

I've thought about it but I don't want to get away from the original TPI setup and go carb.

with turbo or turbos u can keep the tpi and just have the stock ecm tuned

ur only choice for a supercharger is one of the centrifical types i.e paxton, procharger etc, none of the roots style blowers will allow u to keep the tpi

Paxton made sc for mounting on passenger side for v belt set up
Search adhuntr for used kit unless you are dead set against paxton

Re: Will this supercharger work on my 305 TPI v-belt setup

There is a few ways to run fuel injection with that supercharger. The first and easiest way is to change over to TBI .
The other way that was talked about on this forum is to weld fuel injector bungs on the manifold And run a 90 degree elbow on top of the blower and a TB.
