My 355ci twin 66mm turbo setup is running!!

Damn I can't believe I haven't been on here that long.....my last login was in 2012 lol. Anyway, I've been busy putting together my twin turbo setup and its done and on the road, only running 8psi with a blowthrough e85 carb. Took it to the track last sat and my best run was a 11.44 @ 128mph on 8psi with a HORRID 2.2 60ft, converter has to be loosened up....won't even go to 3k on the tbrake so I was just rolling out off the footbrake, no boost shifting at 5800. Converter is coming out this week and back to Andre at edgeracing to loosen it up to around 3600ish....it starts making boost around 34-3500rpms.

Whats up Justin? been a while! that shp shortblock is covered up on the engine stand as we speak, all it needs is a set of heads. I just freshened up the 355 with new bearings, rings and rod bolts seen that motor already has heads lol....but they'd be a little small for the shp 400". I was surprised by the mph up here @ 5200+ft elevation too! once it gets moving, it goes but gotta get this converter sorted out, waayy too damn tight...good for mph going down the track but horrible of the line lol

Yeah my buddy's 400" or so lsx went 135 on 7 psi down here at 1200 ft on good gas. Thought that was impressive but you arent to far off and much less cubes and heads

I'll definitely give the e85 some of the credit for that, i have the dizzy locked out at 34* pulling 1*/psi and it ran well then i pulled out only 4* for 8psi and it woke up!! pulled a plug and it was still a little wet/sooty. Then i pulled no timing for the 8psi and picked up 2.5mph from the previous run, pulled a plug and its just beginning to show a timing mark with 0* retard on 8psi!. Right now im running the ngk r5671a-8, gonna go to some -7s here this weekend and go back to pulling only 4* with the hotter plug and see how it goes....its probably gonna just roll out till the boost hits thanks to that TIGHT converter
