COTM

Hi, guys. i just wanted to talk to you all about the TGO Car of the Month program, which i'm sure most of you are already familiar with.

why am i writting a post about COTM here on the Power Adders Forum, you may ask. that is because i am hoping that you guys can help us out with COTM this month. this month's theme is track cars (1/4 mile and road course.) unfortunately, we only have a few more days left until i must start a voting thread, and there have been only two cars nominated (and i think they've both won COTM in the past.)

from what i've seen, some of the most hardcore racers on TGO reside primarilly here on the Power Adders Forum.

i can only spend so much time (as i have been doing unsuccessfully for the last hour and a half) searching these boards for good pictures of track-based cars of active TGO members. unfortunately, nobody here uses a vgarage or better yet an picture album in their profile, and i'm sorry, but i can't post up a close-up picture of your wastegate to represent your car for a COTM nomination. so, if any of you are familiar with any high quality cars that meet this month's criteria and you can post a good picture of it, please go ahead and nominate those guys in the COTM Nomination Thread in the Auto Detailing and Appearance Forum.

PS

i understand that for many of you, this is a technical sight and not a pageant. however, as COTM Editor, it is important to me that a many types of cars have a chance to be featured in the COTM Showcase - not just bone stock originals and LS swaps. and this is the month that i set aside to make sure that the hardcore race cars are represented.

Thanks for listening.

Normally the go fast guys don't have appealing visuals, and the guys with the nicer looking cars are slow turds.

Heck, my car still doesn't have an interior in it.

Without time slips, who knows who is "fast"? But I totally agree that most purpose-built race cars aren't to look good, but to race.

Good thing my car is ugly and slow! ;-)

Re: COTM

If car of the month is focusing on this section of ours, then dyno videos & track videos along with pictures of the car need to be included. As was said above, anybody can essentially say that my car runs this or that and/or makes this or that, but I for one am all about factual proof, so lets make it legit. Put up or... well, you guys know the rest.

Top end off and boost leak? Does that mean boost leaking out a piston?

I vote your car for the TGO power adder COTM.
