440 cid + 425 of "NOSS" + 1 single bonehead = alot of %^&*( $$$$$ here is our street driven 306 piston after running 450 hp of NX "EZ street" plate system into it and running STOCK block, STOCK crank, STOCK rods and a 1/4 in 10 seconds flat last year. we found this piston at the end of season tear down. also the machine shop told us they would NOT remachine the block because it had numerous microscopic cracks in it. we drove it probably a thousand miles atleast like that after the last nitrous pass. even made half a pass without enough fuel once ( note: the spark plug it probably saved it that time). them trw's are bad little anvils. that poor mopar (above) was a mess but its pistons look ok see what i mean? I guess thats why they call them "MOPARS" the MO-faster you go the MO-parts you goanna need.

I hear Move Over People Are Racing all the time, so when I hear Mo-jokes I usually rant. Any car running tens is gonna need serious hardware, and you weren't disputing that, so I stand corrected. But 280 rwhp in a 'Cuda, somethin' was wrong for sure. I have an article that pitted a bone stock hemi GTX vs. a Viper. Although the Viper made more rwhp, the hp per ci of the 426 and the 488 were nearly the same.

the a/f meter said his tune was dead on. 280 hp and all that torque is still pretty good to rear wheels.

the Charger was my last project, I sold it because my bodyman neg on a deal and I didnt want to wrap 5k in a base/clear job for someone else to do it.
I was looking for another Challenger, (had 3 of them before) but couldnt find on worth a crap for under 15k, but the I came across the 91 GTA and I counldnt pass it up. A completed low mile car with most mods done for under 10k it was a no brainer
Im more excited about this car because it the sweetest HP car Ived own to date. I going to get another Challenger someday, 70 is my favorite but for now I'll enjoy the GTA
