3rdGen T Shirt Decision Idea

I was thinking last nite, as I remember numerous people being frustrated that the t shirt idea may not get done because everyone wants different things. And it is hard to decide on one or two when hundreds are putting their ideas out.

So, what if a committee of like 3-5 people were in charge in picking which t shirt designs were to be made? this way you can get a little feedback from people but without the hundreds of different opinions.

Me, as long as one is printed in good taste I'll buy it.

I would get a t-shirt if the design was tasteful. Not too much bursting out with colors and designs but something more mellow and sweet looking. Like where it would say 3rd gen f-body and the site on the front and a nice picture of 3rd gens together on the back. That would be nice.

Its pretty much like that already. All designs have been looked at, but progress is not happening fast.

That's why I say top 5 posters on the board are the committee or something like that. Just something I learned in acct the other day, things don't work well when you let everyone choose. I just want to get one printed and start sellin.

Well, that was just a suggestion, it doesn't have to be that way. You could take the least 5 posters, but then I don't think they would voice much of an opinion now would they.

Mark: the Chief Public Servant for Canada will not be running in the next election. You'd be shoe in for the job.

People are being too picky about the shirt.. which should probably be a sweatshirt or a sweater, by now (too cold for a t-shirt). Just put thirdgen.org on it, and be done with it... everyone can come up with some super-ultra-creative-amazing ideas for next year. People don't want this, dont want that, want the firebird facing the camaro at a 18.915 degree angle with the camaro colored red-orange pearl with metallic flames and a chopped top- I mean c'mon already. We've had the perfect "quick" shirt design staring us in the face for years:

Erase the "message boards", put "Camaro/Firebird club" below the picture, and that's that. Done.

That would look good. That logo on the back and a small ThirdGen.org on the front.

I think Mark is right. I don't see the decision being made without coming from a comittee or something. I've pretty much given up on everybody agreeing at this point. Maybe votes from all the moderators or something.

True! I just threw an idea up on the T-shirt board about doing sweatshirts as well as t-shirts. We should be able to get hats and polo shirts and t-shirts and sweatshirts and .. uh.. pants, socks, shoes, underwear (hey baby, do my thirdgen boxers turn you on? haha), coffee mugs, keychains, plastic license plates, stickers, beanie babies, etc with thirdgen.org on it.

You know we'd all pay, too. Hell I'd hang a keychain from my spare set of keys, use the coffee mug in the garage, let the dog play with the beanie baby, slap a sticker on the toolbox, and wear my boxers to bed.
