why am I on probation?
If a moderator decides to put someone on probation then they need to send a PM to that person why they are placed on probation.......

I agree biker. How is one to learn from being 'reprimanded' (on probation) unless they know what it was for to begin with. Good idea.

 

Did you post some no tech stuff? Or threaten someone, make a obsciene post? Thats bad when youre not informed on what you did.

 

I talked about iroc2nv's car, I didn't even bash it or anything, not like most people do, I just said clear lights are a no no.

if you're on probation i don't believe you can edit or post pics, but i'm not sure. also i don't think a moderator can place you on probation, at least i don't know how to. if i ever were or able to place someone on probation it'd let them know why. almost all the time when i lock or delete a thread i write the offender and explain why. there are times i do it from work and am short on time and forget. i figure when i ban someone they ought to have a pretty good idea why. write the moderator of what ever board and see if they can help if not write the admin at webmaster@thirdgen.org and see what the problem is or was.

 

You've been on probation for almost a week now. You just noticed? I don't think moderators can probate anybody either. But then again, I've not tried.

I know how to ban or put people on probie, so you guys better watch out, lol. Biker, I was wondering what you did as well. I've never seen you get out of line.

I don't post alot of pics, and been off and on the last few weeks.
checking the boards but not really. I stoped looking under my name to see how many posts I have and missed the "on probation" bit.
I e-mailed the mod for the board I think i did something wrong on. but for what it is worth on the thread is still going strong.....
go figure.
I'll wait for an answer, but it I don't get one I'll e-mail brad.
