I did a search but could not find this subject. Ok my sug. Can we start a rule stating you cant just come here to sell stuff. I think you should have to be a member for a little bit before being able to just throw crap in the claissified section.

I think it would be a good idea to somehow limit new users. Maybe not allow them to sell till they are "members" or have some many posts. Sence I was JUST burned by redbird89 aka Jeff Porrini, Id be more comfortable knowing the person I was buying from had some sort of reputaion to uphold.

On a few sites (ls1tech.com is one of them) you have to have a certain number of posts in the tech only sections to be able to sell something. They also have a feedback system similar to ebay. Works very well.

Yes, I agree, there should be some kind of security, ala a rating system as on ebay. As for now, I personally don't dare buying anyhing on here, and there is way too many members to remember peoples names.

Turbomustang board does the same thing as ls1 tech. I think they should have to have at least 50 posts before trying to sell.

I agree with everything stated above. I have had almost 100% good luck buying on here but I do my home work and try and make sure the person is reputable or I wont buy.

I agree that there should be some sort of rule about having a certain amount of posts but then i sure hope that people dont just throw out useless posts just to become a member. I also have not been burned yet but I do the same thing as many people do and read the feedback section. I think there should be some sort of serious rating system but I am sure scammers would find a way to abuse that.
