Yeah, how does somethign like this work, is it possible to change the name with out starting a new account? My name is outdated and would like a new one.

 

You can either post your request here, or PM an Admin like myself. As long as it is within reason, and also not a habit. Users cannot change their user name on their own.

I doubt that would be set, as it would likely be abused if users were able to change their own title. As well, with TGO's size, that is just one more thing that would have to be 'moderated'. Plus, TGO has always (majority) been a tech-only site, such titles wouldn't exactly fit in, in my opinion.

 

it would in a way create a little more of a community aspect though. kinda like all the nicknames that go along with a persons name.
this way you would have your nickname plus your screen name.

though I would agree it is something that could be abused but maybe on request only for members who have been here for such a legnth of a time?
