***Thirdgen.org Photoshop Contest #3 ***
You MUST begin with the original picture and will not be allowed to use somone else's work as a starting ground or to use any part of thier work.
Basically everyone will start with the EXACT same picture, and they get to modify it however they wish.
Examples:
Shaved, lowered, Change colors, change rims, body kits, convert sedans to coupes. Ricify, performance mods, stripes, Dubs, side pipes, air intakes.
The sky is the limit. You can be silly or serious.
Here's how it will work.
-Pics will be posted on Sundays.
-Contests will begin as soon as you get the new picture.
-Thursday will be submission deadlines.
-Friday is the begining of voting.
-Voting ends Saturday. (everyone can vote, one vote each)
-Sunday votes will be tallied, winner will be notified and will hopefully select the picture THEY choose to be used for the next contest.
**** You must find a host for your own pictures. I guess something like imageshack.com or your own website is your best bet. Otherwise maybe someone will host it for you.*****
Below is the picture for this week.
Modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc... You have to leave at least 1 element of the original pic, doesn't matter what it is.
Only 1 entry per person, revisions are allowed, just have it submitted by the deadline.
You have until Thurday night to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away.
Any questions, let me know.
Good luck!
The winner will post the following Photoshop Contest.
For the size, you can resize the picture, but it should NOT exceed original picture size.

As a moderator, I have no real concern with the last two pics that were chosen to modify. The fact that they're not thirdgen related is cool with me since they're helping us all practice our "chop" skills.
.....but personally, is there a reason it's not even GM RELATED???? I dunno, just not as much fun if it's not a bad *** Chevelle, Vette, F-bod, or heck, even a Ford or Mopar.

Because editing a golf-cart involves a little more creativitiy then the usual car. I think it is more fun to have a wide range of vehicles to photoshop than just strictly gm. Things you would do to a chevelle, you probably couldn't do to a golf-cart and vise versa.
Thats my opinion anyways..

I believe we are missing some entries from a few people..... *cough* Mavis, Half-fast, flyinlow, RS, Abubaca *cough*.....
Anyways, here is my entry.. didn't exactly turnout how I wanted, but I guess I am satisfied.
Changes:
- Made it taller so it could have full sides
- Gave it that hatch like back
- Blended the original roof on to the cart (rather poorly)
- Some 24K Dayton rims
- Ruby red paint job with some metal flake (rain/blur make it hard to see)
- Gave it a white vinyl top (poorly)
- Gold trim between the the top and paint.
- Moved the original cart driver down so he is driving
- Added my buddy hanging out the window holding two gold paintball guns
- Added muzzle flash
- Found a cool night shot of a street corner.
- Added a falling guy (actually a tennis player diving for a ball)
- Added the blood spray
- Added rain effect
- Some blur on various parts
- And other misc polishing.
I think that is it.
I was bored.

WOW SPEARSON. It pains me to say that with classes having started again, and a full time job to deal with, I haven't had much time to worry about my submission. I have one class tomorrow and then i'll have a few hours to work on perhaps squeezing in a late submission...but of course, Spearsons is unbeatable. You're incredible, man. As a personal favor, could someone take the time out to list the submissions for a vote? I'm very busy as it is... i'm sorry to even ask. I appreciate it if anyone could, and i'll try not to let you down!

You know, with school starting everywhere, and others having computer problems, and labor day weekend approaching , we could possibly extend the contest a little longer, say a week.
I kind of think 1 per week is too much and people might get burnt out on them.
I start classes next wednesday, so even if we didn't extend it and started a new contest, I probably wouldn't get a submission in for that one.
Just throwing the idea out there.

I think the deadline should be Sun. night that way those in classes would have the weekend to finish it up. For those in work, I hope you all have the weekend off.

IE. Last night, the pictures were red x's, but the link would work if I copied into the address bar, but this morning, neither worked, but now at school, they both work.. so maybe the school was messing around their servers.
