Windshield banner
I just bought a 87 GTA, L98/700R4, on Monday, I've had 4 Camaros before, so I'm not completely new to 3rd gens.
Anyways, it has a "Trans Am" windshield banner on it, but I was thinking of making a "Gran Turismo Americano" windshield banner.
What do ya'll think?
Also, what about the color? White, like most banners, or more goldish, like the color of the wheels, and emblems?

All I have is what's on there now. I don't have a pic of what I was considering, since it doesn't exist yet. But, the spacing is good, so it doesn't look jammed together.

I'd fully expect the Huh? or have people expect it to be Spanish.
I already made one. I have my own vinyl machine to cut out letters or graphics, just not sure if I'm gonna put it on.
Worst case, I put it on and don't like it, I could just make another Trans Am one.

That's a real positive statement...
It's called being proud of what you have.

Mind if I copy that idea?
I think I would though, reverse cut just the letters out, in red vinyl, and put it on the inside of the lens though. At glance, it would look totally stock, until I hit the brakes. Then, only the letters of Trans Am would show!

Go ahead.
What I did there was print the letters backwards onto some sticker paper. Then I applied them to a piece of plastic from a flourescent light cover, painted, and peeled the letters off. I wanted it to look black like that because I hate teh 86 high mount stoplight and I think it looks better with the black around, but hey. That's me.

Oh, just realized you achieved what I was referring to, basically. Only the letters light up.
Don't blame ya on the outside stop lamp. Not very fond of those myself.
I think I have one of those hatches, sitting around somewhere...

I made a white one, but then decided I need a gold/bronze vinyl, to match the stock emblems. I'll probably get some gold/bronze vinyl next week.
I have a jpeg of what it looks like though. I always output my designs for customer approval, before making them.
BTW, I made the letters 4" tall, just like what's already on the car. The "Trans Am".
