Re: Some Build Pics

I couldn't remember what ECM/harness you are going with and I cant remember about how the factory ALDL is gonna act if you swap the harness/ECM for SD (when I try to hook my laptop upto it). It's been awhile since I did an SD swap. Cam is still a little on the large side for the factory ECM (even with a tuned PROM), but the bigger cubes might help compensate for that....

Like I said, it's gonna be interesting, not impossible....

Re: Some Build Pics

Very nice build. It's similar to my setup except your cam is a little bigger than mine(that's what she said) and I'm using a SuperRam intake. After several months and hundreds of burned chips I finally got mine tuned. If you don't have a WBO2 invest in one. It will make tuning ALOT easier.

Re: Some Build Pics

If I can get the laptop to connect to the ALDL after the harness swap, I can datalog and use VE master to straighten out part throttle/cruise tuning. As far as WOT tuning, I should be able to get it close, but doing an A/F ratio scan with a wide-band when he dyno's it will tell me what final tweaks to make on the WOT tables.

Or he could invest in a innovate motorsports LM-1 .......

No,I'll never have it done in time for the meet. I'll be lucky if I get it done over the winter.

Re: Some Build Pics

It's got a nice industrial color scheme to it (crinkle black / aluminum). Looks nice!

Thanks for the compliment.Going for the contrast of black and grey, like my interior. Using black oxide ARP bolts throughout with the natural alum.finish. If I only had more time to work on it,have been working seven days a week. Maybe this winter things will slow down.

Vale covers came that way from GM performance. It's a black crinkle finish.
