Re: 2nd Annual Texas Third Gen Roundup
I'm really looking forward to it. I was wondering if there will be somebody at the meet that will have Thirdgen logo stickers and/or T-shirts for sale, or how I can get some online?

Re: 2nd Annual Texas Third Gen Roundup
I'm planning having 3 shirts made up so i can see how they look, feel, and hold up in the wash. after I know they are a good quality of all for them to the rest of the group
the artwork is similar to what I posted about month ago, still trying to decide if we're going to leave the back of the shirts blank or have date specific artwork back there.
I kind of like the idea of leaving the back blank. that way your clothing never goes out of date
if we did have something on the back we would use it to promote the local groups that make up the gathering, as well is giving tgo a shoutout

Re: 2nd Annual Texas Third Gen Roundup
I think it all comes down to what the decal would look like. If you're talking multi color, full graphics, you're talking about a great looking decal, but also a LOT more money.
If you're talking about a single color graphic, you can make something nice looking, but it's just much harder
If you're talking about no graphics, text only, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to get involved with something bland that many people wouldn't put on thier car anyway
As for me, I couldn't put a decal on my back glass anyway... the louvers wouldn't allow it to be shown
so what kind of design are you talking about stephen? our regular, full color flag? I also have a three color version that's been dumbed down a little, but it's still nice looking

for a single color, there's also the image that I used in the flyer, which I think is kind of cool, but it could be too busy for a decal

yeah, more or less.. it will be a variation on one of the first two, unless we're inspired to come up with something else..
I'm bias.. I like that design

still trying to get the details worked out, but it has to do with the location of the photoshoot. If we can pull it off, it's going to be uber cool

Re: 2nd Annual Texas Third Gen Roundup
once again, i'm not going to be able to make this one. i kinda feel lonely out here by myself. Justin is selling his car and moving, so it's just me again...
anyway, i'm coordinating a cruise that weekend out here with a bunch of local guys. one of these days, i'm going to make it down there.
on a side note: i went to Fidel's a few weekends ago. talk about slim pickings... i only found 1 firebird out there.

Re: 2nd Annual Texas Third Gen Roundup
80% chance I maybe coming, I wanna come to check out and obtain valuable information from other third gen owners. I am in college so unsure if school ends or extended because of the two weeks of snow. As for now 80% chance of making it and I'll ask my dad if he interested since he used to have two third gen camaros in high school, plus he helps me on my car alot when I need some help. (Sadly he end up getting a new 2010 sierra for xmas recently

NTTGA.net has regular meetings every second sunday of every month, but that shouldn't stop you from coming to the state gathering. it's only once a year
hope to see you at both!

that's great man! part of me wants to change my fuel pump before I take any really long trips....
it's not acting up, but because I don't know when (or if) it's ever been changed, it's a little scary

Re: Second Annual Texas Statewide Gathering
Count me in from Houston with +2 total 3 one car.
Don't know if this has already been discussed but we should definitly all cruise over there together. That would be awesome.
What do the rest of you guys from Houston think?

love it! great to have you aboard!
there's a thread about the cruise, subscribe to it and I'm sure you houston guys will have a blast driving up together. I know last year one of my highlights was looking behind me and seeing a line of third gens as long as I could see driving down from Dallas

Re: Second Annual Texas Statewide Gathering
ok guys... give me some feedback.... kevin89formula is going to be taking care of our decals, and he just sent me two samples. the first one is larger, with the shape of the logo cut out. I think it looks better against a tinted window than the regular rectangular one.
the other one would look better against a lighter background (not black) like if you were going to put it on a fridge, toolbox, or a non tinted window
I'm not sure why they are two different sizes. I like the larger one better, I'll have to ask kevin if it's possible to get the rectangular one in the larger size
but they do look great, and I can't thank Kevin enough for doing this.. man, you ROCK!!!!!!!!
give me some feedback on these if you do plan on using a decal, which one do you like better?

I didn't think I would, but I think I do too... maybe I could get 50 of each and give each person the option of what they want.
