thanks for reminding me... I have a couple calls to make tomorrow... trying to get a couple people there with a truck full of good thrid gen parts to sell. I'd love for people to be able to put in an order for parts they need, and be able to pick them up at the roundup.

 

This looks like it might be pretty cool. Is there a way for us to sell parts too (somewhere to list them?) or is it just gonna be Sponsors that are selling things?

He and his dad have a great website with TONS of third gen parts, some of them NOS. the only problem is, he's not near anybody, so getting the parts is a problem.

I've arranged with him that he's going to come to the roundup and deliver any parts you need right to georgetown. He's also going to bring some of his nicer inventory of hard to find items that you may just be tempted to buy when you see what he's got.

I'm really excited about this, some of these parts are hard to find, but he's going to bring them right to us.

Don't let the pop-up on his website bother you... they are getting out of the business of selling dodge parts, and are going all 3rd gen, all the time. Sounds like a business that could be a great resource for years to come in Texas. I've looked over his website, and I think his prices are reasonable for what he's offering. I would say that he's at or below what most people who parts out cars charge, plus you have the benefit of not having to drive all the way to his place to pick them up.

All right, just got off the phone with Johnnydees, very nice people! Getting a "new" hood pop-up spring.
Everyone needs to check them out like Mark said! They have parts that other places don't! I told him to be prepared for some business!

Excellent! glad to hear there's already some buzz. The main thing that's cool about this is that he's bringing these parts to us. His prices may not be the lowest i've ever seen, but they are comperible to the norm, but you can't beat the convenience of having him RIGHT THERE. I hope he'll bring a couple tables full of merchandise, and make a real swap meet of it.

I was glad he jumped at the offer to come out to the meet, but honestly I would have been shocked if he didn't want to come. he's selling third gen parts, and he's going to have 40-60 third gen owners right in one place. Who could ask for a better situation than that for a seller?

I'm not gonna take a sell away from Johnnydees, but all ya had to do was ask on TGO...I've got like 3 of those springs as "extras". I'm sure others do too.

Also one reason I asked 58mark about a swap/sell board to the show. So that we can all help each other out in finding/buying/selling parts.

 

I appreciate ya but this is a new spring, a little taller and stiffer.

I drove the garage, no speed bumps. I took this photo on the top floor. The entrance to the garage isn't steep either.

I ran across the Trans Am that was best of show (in my opinion) at last years meet. He was totally unaware about the 2nd annual. Told him all about it and gave him a flyer. He is not a member of ATGO but lives in Austin, so please put him down for Custom Turbo Trans Am ( one car, two people), his name is Dom (I think), and put him under ATGO.
