Gauging Interest...

Hi, last night while I was working on the cars, a kid walked up my driveway to my garage asking me if I worked on the Camaros. I refrained from a smart *** comment as my hands were filthy and I had the IROC up on two jackstands already and placing the jack under the rear end.
Anyways here is the short and sweet of the conversation he has a 91 RS 305 TBI T-Tops Auto that no longer will start up because of a ingition switch problem (he claims) anyways apparently he and his Dad are looking to just get rid of the entire car, pretty cheap, I was not able to lock down a price but I have seen him driving around the neighborhood, the car sounded decent with a flowmaster exhaust, it was a Teal car at some point but now is all primered. Also the front end has some damage, the interior is supposed to be in good shape. I told him to come back this weekend and I would drive over and snap some digital pics and get them posted, I figured someone might be interested in it

Reply here or send me a PM or email if you have speicifics you would like me to check out for your, I figured he might be better off selling the car complete. My guess would be less than 1K.

Did he regularly change his headlight and blinker fluid though? People some times overlook that.

It's a '91. I thought everyone knew that GM switched to DOT5 lifetime silicone blinker fluid in '90.

I'd be more concerned about the Torque-baffle hypotenator. Those things are a biatch to replace...

Did anyone here ever see that special on TV oh, about 3 or 4 years ago titled "When Cars Attack"? It was a spoof on all of those TV shows that were coming out about the same time that had titles like "When _____ attack". It was hosted by Richard Belzer and was fuggin' funny as he||. The premise was that cars basically had a mind of their own and sometimes did crazy things (most of which were attributed to operator error, but they never mentioned this, as it sorta killed the comedic value) which they had plenty of footage of. I wonder if it's available anywhere on the internet?

There are legions geeks making sure that the answer to this question is a resounding, Yes!
