We usually start arriving in the parking lot about 5:30 or 5:45 to check out each others cars and catch up on whats been done to them.

Items to discuss include the recent club picnic, and upcoming events including the Big Bear cruise in September, and possibly a cruise to Solvang/Najoqui Falls at the end of August.

If you have anything for show and tell, please bring it.

Post if you plan to attend.

Our meetings are open to veteran and new members alike. If you're a new member, this is the perfect chance to introduce yourself and meet everyone. There are no dues or initiations.

If you want to meet up and cruise to the meeting together, meet at Don's shop around 4:30 pm, and we'll leave around 5pm.

The accident happened after I left the house. The traffic didn't stop because of a CHP closure, the traffic stopped because of the wall of flame shooting about 60 feet into the air. It was methanol by the way, and I'd left my marshmallows at home...

What do we do? This is an ultra serious and boring group, so bring your BS-resistant shoes. You'll be walking in a mountain of it.

Everybody keep quiet about the initiation ritual, though...

How long have you known you would be in Vegas that day? I think changing a meeting date 2 days before the meeting is cutting it a little close. The arrangements are made in advance with the Mimi's. I don't think it is fair to them to change it at the last minute either.

I dont see a big deal. Their are a couple thirdgen people who take their fourthgens to the meetings.

As long as their is a bigger thirdgen to fourthgen ratio everything should be ok.

You guys are being silly, now. All thirdgens are welcome*. If you have a thirdgen but bring your 4thgen because the thirdgen isnt driveable, you'll be teased and made to park in the corner. If you have a 4th gen but want to check us out so you can buy a thirdgen, you'll still have to park in the corner. If you have a 4th gen and have no interest in thirdgens, please stay home. While we appreciate all muscle cars, especially f-bodies, this is a thirdgen-only group and we want to keep it that way.

*(unless your thirdgen looks like you bought every part in the JC Whitney "body & wing" section, then you'll be laughed at and made to park in the corner)

I saw some pretty fast 3rd gens at LA Invasion, I might come check you guys out. Die hard 3rd gen enthusiast but I might try and convince some of you guys to ditch the max effort L98's and go LS1, best of both worlds!!!

Etiquette? I wasn't aware there was a requirement! As probably the oldest fart at the previous meeting, when the belly dancers cleared the tables I simply charged for the exit door, said goodnight-had-a-great-time and roared back to Long Beach to hit the sack (us old guys need our beauty sleep). Isn't that how it's done if one doesn't hang around to talk story in the parking lot?
