Compliments to Dyno Don

I know their was another thread like this but I couldnt find it. So here is another one. First off I have really enjoyed the headers and y-pipe that Don installed on my car. The extra power is great and the quality is fantastic. All my friends say I should have gotten longtubes but when they look at the headers and y-pipe, and just say its some great work.

Today I got my car back from the transmission shop. My transmission mount was broken again and so were my motor mounts. I had them replaced and when I was talking to the man from the shop he kept on saying that I have a really nice exhaust setup. I told him about Don and he kept on saying he does great work. Finially before I left he asked if I had a buisness card from Don, and that "the man is an artist". I said no but I gave him the Number to Dons shop. He couldnt get over Dons work. He said he has seen a lot of exhaust setups over the years but Dons work is some of the best he's seen.

The point Im trying to make is to say thankyou Don for your great work and if anybody here was thinking about getting their exhaust done, Don is the man to go too.

If you are serious about finding out how much Dyno Don charges and not just trying to get your post count up then I suggest giving him a call 714-633-5168. Don has more experience with these cars than any other mechanic you are likely to come across. His pricing is fair, his work is impeccable, and there are many of us that will mourn the day he decides to hang up the old wrenches. So if your serious, give him a call.

Re: Compliments to Dyno Don

I to sing the praises of Dyno Don's work!

I haven't had his exhaust set-up installed on my Bird yet, however I did purchase his "Old" 9-Bolt with LS1 rear's.

He removed my senior rear that was rusted tight. He removed it with the help of jerry (JerryWho) it was that bad... lol. After that he replaced my fuel pump, and installed everything o a Saturday. Even when there were a couple of complications, he handled them with great courtesy, time and pricing. (note* He does not discuss pricing on-line)

Thanks again Don!

Adrian

i helped a bit as well on helping Don with your rear end, and your right most bolts were rusted tight, i stuck around most off the morning until he replaced the fuel pump because i wanted to see how it was done. not too complicated because you have Don, plus a lift and power tools lol, my car is also an east coast car so i know my bolts are rusty as hell so im dreading swapping out my fuel pump i think i might just have Don do it right.

No kiddin?!

I had stopped by round 1PM that day to check on it and I only saw Jerry then bounced out again. So, I appreciate the elbow grease you donated to the cause.

So, anyone who isn't aware by now, there is plenty of info, talent, and help to keep your 3rd gen runnin'... And always Don...

A....

Re: Compliments to Dyno Don

I give a +1 to Don for installing my wiring harness, and a +1 to Paul (F1LS1) for the motor swap. If it wasnt for the both of them, my car would be a door stop... or it would have been sold :shudders:
