Interesting article I found...
Every once in a while I do a internet search on "Top-Down Solutions, TDS" to see what is being said about my company. I found an online article dated May 2008 "Junkyard Jewelry" by High Performance Pontiac and am surprised to see a few of my products mentioned. On the picture of a Steering Brace they mention my version is available. They also list me as supplying new sway bar end links with urethane bushings and show a picture of the one I sell.
Thanks for the write-up Troy!

Yea, that was the time we met at the parking lot of Pick Your Part, that N-10 dual-cat setup was yours, too. Unfortunately, the editor got negative emails from members of this board saying the article was NFG because THEY already knew all of this information, so he has not been interested in dedicating resources to a group that seems ungrateful.
You are welcome.

I recall you snapping the photo of the dual cat setup. It's good you did. I had to use the cats on the Firebird in place of a used set that started to rattle soon after installing.

Re: Interesting article I found...
If you see an article and buy a product in it, mention the article to the vendor. Obviously if Lon is just seeing this article after 3 years, that NEVER happened.
Even if you don't buy a product from the article, email or mail a letter to the editor, saying how you enjoyed the article and are considering subscribing to the magazine if his coverage of third-gens continues. The HPP editor actually likes third-gens, but he's a businessman.
Because third-genners do not do these things, magazine coverage is fairly sparse. But to have negative feedback about an article that got zero positive feedback is just a death-knell. The entire article was actually the idea of the HPP Editor, so it was a smack in the face to him, and he didn't know a lot of the info in the article. Fourth-gen guys support their vendors/magazines/stories, so every time I talk to editors about a third-gen story, they tell me to get a 4th gen and get back to them.

A lot of us, well, myself & maybe a handfull of other members don't have 3rd gen knowledge, we learn by trial & error like everyone else.
Some things need replaced with new, some can be picked.
Lon is patient & makes sure we know what we're doing, even has a link to instructions.
I find it hard to see why there would be unsatisfied customers!!
Thanks Lon!!
