Question on subframe perforemance

Would it be better to get bolt ons and then bolt/weld them or would it be better to just go with weld ons?

about the same really, bolting them on is totally ineffective over the long run anyway

There's too much force applied to too little area... the holes simply enlarge... then everything rattles & squeaks

I keep reading this... but it's always from folks who heard it from a friend's dad's uncle's cousin (i.e. I have never actually heard from anyone who had this happen to them). Several folks on these boards have personal experience with bolt-ons and have had no bolt hole elongation over several years of use. Their testimony lead me to buy Jegsters bolt-on "frame ties." I have a bunch of pics and a how-to on these up on my site (link below). I do plan on having them welded on whenever I get a new exhaust system (a couple of years away, probably).
