Wonderbar in 3.1 V6

I am looking for info to safety relocate the lower radiator hose and support bracket so that I can install a wonderbar in a 92 RS with a 3.1 V6.

I just cut off aprox 3" of the bottom radiator hose (side to the radiator with the funny bend) and completely removed the plastic bracket. Been like that for a year or so and works great. We drive this car daily.

I'll give a try. Beats buying a V8 radiator that is suggested in some other posts

I just installed a wonderbar in my 2.8 V6 car last night. no hose cutting or re-routing necessary. The lower hose does touch the wonderbar a bit, but there's no hose deformation or bandwidth decrease.

Ironically, I haven't really noticed a *major* difference in handling yet. I took it down some hairpin curves but it handles about the same as before, which is to say damn well for a base bird, being an F41 with P245 15 inch tires. The wonderbar seems to have made no difference as far as I can tell. Will keep experimenting.

I also did not notice any difference when I first installed it on my vehicle. However, the main reason I put it on is to just strengthen the frame area up front to prevent the prone for cracking area behind the steering box. I run larger rims and tires than the stock V6's and I truely believe that GM put the Wonderbars stock on the larger tire Irocs for this simple reason. $50 is cheap insurance not to have the frame flex and crack.

You are probably not going to notice any major difference in handling, what you will notice are things like less tendency for the steering gear to start pulling out of the frame rail or causing stress cracks, your radiator not cracking after bottoming out your front end hard, potentially less cowl shaking, etc.
