Sugg. for tight rear susp.
this is what I have: Eibach springs, LCA's from a 99 camaro (basically for the bushings and they were free), and new shocks (nothing special). I have the 10-bolt Saginaw. It feels like the rear has a little too much lateral sway too it. Would polyerethane endlinks help or should I go with a heftier stablizer bar?? Or is ther somethign else I am not thinking about?

depends on what you want, if you just want to "help" tighten up the rear i would recommend poly end links and sway bar bushings and possibly a tubular panhard bar with poly bushings. But if you want to go all out, do the above with some 36mm front/24mm rear sway bars, you wont be disappointed, also look into some SFCs if u dont already have them, this should always be the first suspension mod on our uni-body cars.
my suspension mods are in my sig.

I say do full poly bushings in the rear and do a panhard bar. That will stiffen things up alot. My 90 RS has bad bushings in the rear (and front for that matter lol) and there is alot of lateral movement. Bushings will tighten it up. But the ultimate piece that makes the rear tight is the panhard bar. Revlimit did his panhard bar and noticed a huge difference when he kicked the rear out. Should be a total of around $300 for everything (depending on what panhard bar u get, could be much cheaper).

what up crazy hawaiian??!!
Hey man haven't seen you in a while.
Thanks for your help guys. Yeah, the end links will def go this w/e I think. And yeah, the adjustable pan-hard bar is what I've been tossing around my head for a while. I just wasn't sure what would make the best diff.
VJO90RS8:: I just got my SFC's in the mail yesterday. I have a vert, so any help tightening the chassis would be stupendous. I'd considered the thicker sway bar but was afraid of getting the indipendant susp. too tight and fishtailing at every turn. Maybe this is just the imagination of an uniformed mind. I think I'll try the poly bushings and the pan-hard rod and see where it gets me.

Waasssaaappp!! I finally have the privilege of being a z28 owner!! :hail: z28's hehehehe I'm so happy. I've been on cloud 9 for a week. If you want to stiffin the chassis further you might want to look into the KB lower chassis support. That will tighten the front up. To prevent fishtailing (oversteer) run a big swaybar in front. The rear can be big too, but make sure its not bigger than the one in the front. This is how my 90 RS is setup (small front, huge rear) and it basically produces instant oversteer with little movement of the wheel and some throttle. Good for drifting but bad for gripping. Hehhehe

Hahahaha...Welcome to the Z28 owners club. Awesome man. How many thirdgens do you plan on owning??
I am assuming that I have 24mm sway bar in front and 21mm in back(which just looks real wimpy anyway). I'm not sure though. How big would you go to get a nice firm streetable ride?? What size do 4th gen SS have I wonder.
