Who makes a 36mm front sway bar polyurthane bushing??

Hi all!
I picked up a '87 GTA front and rear sway bars for my girlfriend's 1991 Firebird with the Sport Appearance Package.
I have already degreased them, cleaned them, sanded them, and have them painted gloss black.
I already got new end links with the polyurthane bushings, but Energy Suspension doesn't stock them in 36 mm.
Any ideas??? I don't care if they will fit the standard bracket, or come with new brackets.

Thanks,

George

Go with the TDS bushings and greasable brackets. Top quality parts.

Pic of the brackets and bushings is here:

Or, for the same price, you can buy exactly what you are looking for from Steve Spohn HERE and be supporting this site by purchasing from a supporting advertiser.

OR you could buy it from Top Down and support Lon who is not as established as Steve Spohn but sells quality products nonethless and is trying to establish himself amongst the 3rd gen owners. Either way your getting quality parts from quality suppliers. I myself, would help out the little guy as opposed to the larger company. And who knows, maybe TDS will soon become a supporting advertiser on this site. But I dont think alot of people have big advertising budgets when they first start out. But maybe someday in the near future TDS will have a banner at the top of this page.

I agree with both of you guys...but Lon also gives you the 4 bracket bolts which are also coated against rust and look just neato.

Spohn has great products also...you can't go wrong either way.

I hope that nobody thinks that I'm bashing Spohn or anything like that. I think Steve makes great products for the 3rd gen market, matter of fact the in-laws are getting me spohn sfc's and wonderbar for x-mas.

"Little guy" has nothing to do with it. This site IS the little guy because it only survives with the assistance of the advertisers who help to pay the hundreds of dollars a month it takes to pay for bandwidth. If someone comes in here drumming up business without giving anything back, however small they may be, they are still leeching. I challenge you to find another successful car website on the internet which will allow a business to come in and advertise their goods and services for free. You will find none. However, I feel that we have been more than fair at allowing lonsal to promote his business to some extent without asking for any advertising fees. But when someone comes along and intentionally encourages users to skip over the advertisers (who have equally good or better parts for equally good or better prices) because they have a bleeding heart for the underdog, then you are bound to get some disagreement on our end.

Frankly, I don't know where you're getting this "big bad corporate Spohn" idea from anyway. They have TWO, count them, TWO employees including Steve. Businesses don't get much smaller than that. And lest you forget, Spohn paid for the ENTIRE server himself. If it weren't for him, this site wouldn't be here.

I never said anyting about any "big bad corprate spohn". All i was trying to get at was that Spohn has established himself as a major player in the 3rd gen aftermarket. I dont think that TDS has really. Apperently there are factors involved with this site that I was unaware of, and am sure many others are as well. I was not purposely trying to go around a major sponsor to this site. I was mearly trying to state that there are less established, possibly strugling companys i.e. TDS, that might appriciate an order say, a little more than somebody who has been around longer. Thats all. Not trying to stir up sh*t. Merry X-mas all....

Hi guys. Let me take a moment to clarify a few things. To say that I'm not sponsoring the site is a bit of a misnomer. Actually I have been supporting the site from the beginning. Long before there was formal sponsorship of the site through banner ads, I sent a check to help purchase a server way back when the site was in dire need. I also support the site by answering tons of questions as time permits helping fellow thirdgen F-body owners fix their problems (regardless if I sell a product or not). I do plan to post a banner and officially sponsor the site. I've been waiting for a few things to come together and most have. First was to finally get my web site up and running, done. Second was to get a banner made, (well sorta done, but it could use improvement). Third, I'm sorry, but I don't see anywhere the contact information TO sponsor the site (and I have looked several times). In an effort to do this I've contacted one of my wholesale customers (both of whom sponsor the site) about what they are paying for the banner link. I wasn't able to get an answer. I'm more than willing and anxious to put a banner link on this site. I do support this site and will continue to do so. My situation is far different from someone that registers on the site, has less than 20 posts and puts up a post "buy XYZ from my company" and deservedly gets the boot for not sponsoring the site. I hope this has clarified the situation a bit.

Thanks,

Lon Salgren

Wow guys!
I just asked a really simple question here! Yes, I see the banners listed above every single page.
I have talked with lots of people who work for really big companies.
Who I contact should really be my business. Period!
I appreciate the list of who to contact. Big businesses, mid businesses, or little businesses.
In the end, it will be me who contacts whoever. Yes, I know Lon. I didn't even know that he had these items! No offense, but I will pick who is right next door to me, instead of far away. Unless someone wants to pay the difference for me! Spohn? I have heard of parts breaking. Now I'm not trying to cut someone down (and before anybody posts against me, I am just saying what I have seen, even on this website). But that was not the reason I didn't order from him. I hang out with lon and everybody in SoCal! So, in the end, it was cheaper!
I answer questions here on this site. I thought that everybody is supporting this site with questions and answers. No? Buying and selling on the classifieds as well! It helps everyone too!
I am not trying to flame anyone here, and I hope that no one gets offended! If so, it was not my intention! I can and will apologize to anyone who takes offense. That is one big problem that I see all the time on this site.
I thank everyone for their help!

Later,

George

This is, and always has been, a hobbyist site. We provide information for the betterment of our hobby (simply look at the pictures that EBMiller provides for brake upgrades), and we buy, sell, and trade to perfect the object of that hobby. I certainly appreciate innovators such as Steve, Lon, AndyZ and others who invest time, effort, and resources to improve the quality of our cars. Though I've purchased from all three, and probably will again because of their first-rate products, like Turbo, I'll buy where it suits me best. As Lon did back in the early days, I too sent a check to Dirk to keep the board afloat. If need be, I'll do it again.

I got some 1 3/8" #9.5168R red greasable energy suspension sway bar bushings for sale. I bought them for around $18 or so would like $15 plus actual shipping.
Let me know if you need them.

Guys, just a quick follow-up to this topic. Top-DownSolutions is currently attempting to become an advertiser on this web site. I've sent two e-mails requesting pricing but I haven't heard back yet.

Thanks,
