Fixed the problem!

Hey. I posted on here a while back about a funny handling problem, where you would turn the wheel and it felt like the chassis moved before the body. CrazyHawiian recommended i replace the suspension bushings. I'm a little short on cash, so i only replaced the anti-sway bar bushings. But wow. It made all the difference in the world. It handles like a completely different car now.

Upper sway bar bushings. SOrry, TransAM said he replaced the sway bar end links only (I think). I was being lazy.

There are no "upper" sway bar bushings. There are sway bar bushings and there are endlinks. He said he changed out his bushings....

I did the bushings that connect the sway bar to the brackets in the middle of the car, as well as the bolts&bushings that attach it at either end.

Man you are a stickler!

According to Haynes and CHilton, they are actually called "insulators" at both the bracket and end-link, but how technical do we want to get?

And in my hand, I'm holding a package entitled, "sway bar end link bushing set".

Anyway...for some reason I thought that TransAM had only replaced the bushing at the end-links and after he raved about his results, I merely suggested that he replace the "insulators" at the brackets (i.e upper bushings).

Wheeeeew! Now that thats explained.........
