What shocks/struts are YOU running?
I'm going to be working on my suspension/chassis this summer and I can't really decide what shocks/struts to go with. The KYB's are like super cheap, i think about 140$ for all 4 for my car. Are they really that great, or are they that great compared to the old busted stuff usualy on our cars? I'm stuck between the KYB's for about 140 or so or else tokico high performance(not illuminas) for about 300$. I'm just a little iffy on how good the KYB's can be with them being that cheap.... Or maybe I should just get the front or the back only, but get something really good like the KYB AGX or something.... and what about those QA1's or whatever? Are those pretty much meant for full on racing or what???
What do you guys think???

I also have the kyb gr2 struts and gas-a-just rears.
Not super shocks, but for the money they can't be beat.
Seem to hold up to years of abuse as well.
If you have a lot of money to spend and want shocks you can race with go with konis or bilsteins.

KYBs. I thought so much of them that I ordered them shipped to me in Australia. Very pleased.

stockers up front,
Hal 12 ways out back. Absolutly awesome shock. The adjustability is totally sweet and they look awesome too.
Im gona have to try and talk QA1 into making a strut for our car too. Its kind of ridiculous that they dont.

I got my shocks and struts from Tuned Port Induction Specialties - let me tell ya - I am very pleased with them - you know they aren't a name brand in suspension products but they do take care of camaro, firebird, and corvette owners
My buddy and I installed them and the eibach lowering springs kit in my car and the difference was amazing

I have the Bilstein non-adjustables in my Camaro - love them.
I did have the KYBs in my IROC, which were a tad under dampened for the Jamex lowering springs I had, but they worked fine for normal driving. They definitely were an improvement over the dead stock struts/shocks.

Base Gabriels Up front and Monroe Sensa-Trac Rears.
I change shocks/struts about every 100,000 miles.
