TPIS shocks and struts?
Who has tried these? They look like a helluva deal for $250 for all four struts and shocks.
Are these just revalved el cheapo pieces or are these made by a reputable company?
I might pass on the super expensive Bilsteins or Koni's for these.

... I've been running the TPIS front struts for a couple of seasons now and I like them. The rears I went with Tokico, but I'm also running ERS springs and GC height adjusters.
but aren't worth the price.....
why buy something cheap and wish you had saved when you can save and get the right things. suspension is so important to the feel and overall enjoyment of the car that it's silly to put cheap components on the car. now if you were complaining about the billet bilsteins that retail for 3,000 or the koni race pieces that are even more i could understand.

im not arguing with you. you made it sound like the bilstiens were more exspensive because of the warranty. i understand your point, i would much rather have bilstiens over cheaper versions i was just curious to see how they compared. do you have any experience with the TPIS dampers you can share with us?

i had a set of shocks on the rear of an rs for about 4,000 miles. they weren't bad for an "affordable" unit. personally though if one was to go that route my gabriels i had for $35 a peice were the best bang for the buck.
kyb's are the only units i can honestly say weren't worth a penny. everything else has had it's ups and downs. i've had gabriels, monroe, koni orange/red and yellow, bilsteins on my 91. i've driven for some time the tpis units, kyb's and tokicos so i have a little bit of knowledge on them.
i put the kybs on my gtp....i know it's different but they didn't last 2,000 miles before they began to pogo. the struts they make are terrible. i now have hal qa1 12 ways on the car but i can't truly compare them because of the air ride.
