Yes. Considerably. But don't waste your time on swapping them, even if you can get some; if they're old stock springs, they're worn out.

i have stock springs off of my 91 l98 that i would give you but you would need to pay shipping. they have 62,000 miles. for someone on a budget i'd do it. if you could save up i highly recommend a new set of springs if yours are shot.

The labor to change them will cost you more than the springs themselves. A set of front springs is only about $110. I wouldn't bother putting any used stock springs on a car, even if they're only 10,000 miles old. Stock springs are used up and worn out by the time they're 3 years old, even if the car has done nothing but sit still all its life.

I'd rather have springs that had daily use though....sitting around hurts more then never moving....then again....anything more then 10 years old I'd pass on....just buy new ones.

Ok, you said $110 for a set of front springs, I found these "OEM" replacements, $100 for a set, are they just complete garbage? I think I need new springs, aside from that I would like to get some firmer springs, but cannot find anything else that doesn't lower the car and I have to be really carefull as it is when pulling into my driveway not to bottom out.

Get a set of Moog 5662

That is the replacement for IROC springs.... stock height, 700 some odd lbs/in rate.

They're cheaper than I thought I remembered. You can get them for around $60 a pair.
