Harsh? Soft? Or somewhere in between?
Well, I have finally made most of the decisions I am going to make on the buildup of my Camaro's Suspension and I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the ride quality. This will mainly be a weekend warrior and used for trips to Vegas. Also it's a vert so no trips down the track, however it will be putting a lot of power to the pavement so I tried to keep all that in mind. Here's the list:
Spohn
LCA Reloc Brackets
LCA Tubular / Poly Bushings - Chromemoly
LCA Mounting Hardware Kit
Panhard - Tubular / Poly - Chromemoly
Panhard Bar Mounting Kit
Adj Torque Arm – Rear Mounted- Moly Spherical End - Chromemoly
Torque Arm Rear Mounting Kit
Billet Upper Strut Mounts
Koni "Reds" S & S Package
Poly Transmission Mount
Performance Suspension Technology (p-s-t.com)
Moog Front Replacement springs
Moog Rear Replacement springs
front end kit
Inner tie rod ends
Adjustment sleeves
Centerlink
TDS
Alston SFC’s
Wonderbar
Front (36mm) Sway Bar Bushing (TDS / Red)
Rear (24mm) Sway Bar Bushing (TDS / Red)
1LE end link kit (4) (2 per bar / TDS)
Internet / Mail Order
AJE Tubular K member (jegs)
AJE Spring Perches
Moog Idler Arm
Already Have
Hotchkiss STB
36/24 Sway Bars
As you can see I am nearly replacing everything. I would like a comfortable ride that I could drive everyday, but I can deal with a lot as well. I know there is going to be a trade off, but I just don't want the above to be as stiff as a board on every bump.

Well performance and comfortable don't go together. If you really do all of that stuff you will be very happy with the performace of your car. it will be a real performer. However, because of all the stuff you are taking out all of the dampening characterisitcs of your stock rubber bushings and stamped parts. They allow for a smooth and soft ride but now you are going to trasmit more vibrations and stuff right into the car. It will ride rough but shouldn't rattle your teeth out.

Well, that's one reason I went with Moog stock Ws6 springs. I wanted stock height so that I didn't bottom out. I was going to go with the prokit. It would look cool, but I was very worried, wit hthat suspension that I would be in trouble with any kind of normal driving

Here in So. Cal. our roads are not as bad as other places, although some can be pretty rough (potholes and such). Personally, I like the feeling. I think the issue of bottoming out because of lowering springs shouldn't necessarily be a concern. Unless of course u run the risks of frequent tow truck visits, in which case your concerns would be in other places.
Good luck, Efrain.

Are those the poly/poly LCA and panhard your looking at? If so, I would recommend geting the poly/rod end combo. Much better from a performance standpoint, and IMHO wont offer a harsher ride over the poly/poly.
I wouldnt think you'd need the AJE Spring Perches if you are going to use stock height replacement springs. You also wont need the Billet Strut Mounts. These usually have a raised top which will provide more suspension travel for the struts on a lowered car. Since you are staying stock ride height, you can save some $$ and go with something like the Spohn Upper Strut Mount Package.

Something in my car seems brand new (I bought it in 1998 and it has sat while I restore it little by little) but I have more ground clearance than my buddies 92 RS and a lot more wheel clearance. Though I rub real bad, but that is another post...
I really want to gowith the prokit, I think it will give the car a much better stance and will look normal.

Do you mean I should go with these:
Lower Control Arms - Adj. Spherical Rod Ended
Instead of these?
Lower Control Arms - Tubular w/ Poly
I trust your guys opinions and do not mind spending the extra money.

Jegs, I believe said you have to have the spring perches if you are using stock height springs. However, if I was going with the prokit, would I than not need them? As far as the strut mounts go I think they give form and function. I like the way they look as well, but if they will make the ride that much harsher, I will stick with stock

Well I think I'm talking about different spring perches than the ones you are talking about. I'm thinking the spring perches you are getting work in conjunction with the tubular k-member to provide the stock style spring / strut configuration. If this is the case, then yes you will want the AJE spring perches. The spring perches I was talking about are adjustable pieces that work in conjunction with the spring itself. These are usually used with shorter springs, and adjustments made to the perches to give you the desired ride height. If you are not talking about the adjustable perches (or sometimes called buckets), then disregard what I said.
As for the strut mounts, make sure you inquire about using them with stock height springs. The extra inch of strut travel provided by the raised top might not work with a stock ride height. This extra inch of travel is intended for lowered cars, as to retain the full strut travel. If the car is not lowered, the stock struts might not be long enough (or be able to extend enough) to be installed with the raised tops. Just make sure to ask about it before ordering.
Good Luck!!

Ok, just so I am clear, if I was going to go with the Eibach prokit, I SHOULD get the Spohn strut mounts to allow them to properly do their job.
Also the spring perches that jegs says you have to have with the K member, I will still need those with the prokit as well, right?
I am going to be ordering very soon, so I just want to make sure that I have got everything worked out ahead of time.

You can get the mounts if you like. They are better then the stockers but aren't necessary.
