Do all 36MM Hollow sway bars have the hole by the end link mounting point in them?

I was looking for a 3rd gen 36mm hollow sway bar in the wrecking yards the other day.

I thought it would help me identify them a lot easier.
I started looking on Ebay and spoted these two.

Notice the hole by the end link mounting spot.

Now look at this one.

I don't notice a hole in this one.Is this a 36mm hollow bar if it doesn't have the hole?

Yea.. I know, measure the ones that I find with a caliper or a wrench to make sure.

If anyone know for sure???

All hollow bars will have those holes, both the 36s and the 34s.

Correct. You'd need to measure the diameter of the bars to determine which is which (34mm or 36mm).

Well that was a close one then.
I was going to bid on the black one.

I don't see any hole in the black one.The red one obviously has a hole in it.

The seller sounds like he knows what he is talking about.
Do you think the guy is falsely selling the black bar as a 36mm 1LE bar or could it just be the angle of the picture?

What kind of performance difference would there really be between a 36mm and a 34mm hollow sway bar?

same stiffness, just the 34 solid weighs a lot more then the 36 hollow. go with the 36 hollow

Ok, what I ment is what is the performance difference between a 36mm hollow and a 34mm hollow. I wouldn't think there would be much.

same stiffness = same performance

the only downside is the 34MM weighs more

so when it comes right down to it, the 36 is the better bar

The Black bar appears to be upside down compared to the Red one....holes are on the other side. Hard to tell...but look at position of end link on left hand side. Also...you may not be able see holes just because Bar is black...and picture is not very sharp.

All 36mm GM bars are hollow ....to the best of my knowledge.

There is a 36mm hollow, a 34mm hollow and a 34mm solid.

34mm solid has approx same stiffness as 36mm hollow. 34mm hollow is softest of the three.

I alternate between a 36mm hollow and a 34mm hollow ( both modified to be adjustable ) depending on event. Autocross I usually use the 34mm hollow. Hillclimbs and Road Racing ( higher speeds ) call for car to be less nervous...so I use the 36mm hollow.
