Rolling the lip? Do i need to?

Is rolling the outer fender done to keep the lip from cutting the tire, or is it done to actually geve an extra quarter inch of clearence for the tire, does the tire ever even get that far through the susspension travle? Also so you worry about the section with or the tread with for getting all of the way out to the fender lip?

Will i have to with 15x8 inch rims with 4.5 back spacing and 275/50-15 tires? what about 5.0 inch back spacing?

so i should be all good with the 4.5 backspacing?

and i am looking at drag radials ive heard the bf goodrich have better traction , but the nitto drag radials are actually longer life, just sacracice a little traction

What have you guys heard and experienced with these sets of rubber, and which sounds like it would be best for my application a daly driver and weekend warrior. car in the sig.

thnks guys

If your spinning through 3rd with your mods something is up. You shouldn't have that bad of traction problems with your mods.

I would get a set of nittos and some LCA relocation brackets at least for now.

Buddy of mine runs 8.7's in the 1/8th mile with a stock l98 with free mods, headers (rest of the exhaust is hacked up stock stuff), and LCA relocation brackets. He leaves the line pretty hard with VERY little or no spin.

Subframe connectors will always help a 3rd Gen. They should be the first improvement to any Cam/Bird!!
