Suspention work worth it with drag radials??

Hey guys I have been thinking about geting some drag struts and shocks and the relocation brackets and what not. But I was thinking that say I have a set of drag radials or slicks on the car and I want to leave the line at 3500rpm and I hook then is there any benifit to doing the suspention work? Is hooking hooking no matter how you do it? Or would the suspention work reduce my 60foot times even more?? Thanks for any input guys...

I'de do subframe connectors regardless, but if you hook, you hook. Why waste your money when you don't need to? The only thing I can think of is if you are getting air in the front and might benefit from some different shock/springs to help control the car when the wheels come down.

well I have subframs, lakewood lower control arms, and an edelbrock panhard rod, no front sway bar, and skinnies. I guess I will run with my radials and see what happens..

How? If he is already dead hooking, it's a waste.

Higher rpm doesn't mean more power necessarily, but I know what you meant. That may be true if launching higher causes him not too hook, but the question was if he is already hooking will it help him. If anything it'll slow him down a bit from the added weight.

Ask me about hooking on a stock factory suspension with 120,000 miles on everything going off a transbrake @ 4200rpm.

If your hooking your hooking period. I tried the relocation brackets and did'nt see any change in 60'. The suspension stuff wil help you tune the car but if your hooking your hooking.
