center rim cap question?

I saw 4 of those center firebird logo caps Ive seen on GTAs on Ebay.I want to buy them but before I do will they fit my 14 inch turbo cast alluminum rims?thanks

The N89 rims aren't made for center caps. I tried seeing if one of my 84 T/A caps would snap in and the rim is physcially cast different than a rim that uses center caps.. I did see a picture of a car with N89 rims and center caps so there must be a way if you are creative. You might have to silicone or epoxy them on.

The gardners stole your bowl ball hub caps because they knew some Knight Rider geek would pay $400 for them!

thanks 71,but the hubcaps were the silver ones ,unless the krider dudes spray paint them black!

The KR idiots will paint them black. The factory black ones were metal and painted black. The silver versions(like yours) were brushed and then clear coated.

Dennis... correct as usual... but to fit them on the turbofin rims liek I have.. you just take a rotor-tool and buzz off some of the tabs in back and it will fit.. it won't look perfect.. cause the rim looks different.. but to the "average person" they won't know the diff. I won't do it.. but I've seen it done.

Sorry to hear your caps go stolen,I have been selling them for a few years and gardeners stealing bowling ball caps is a first.

Tell ya what since your not doing a kitt conversion and its going on your on car.I'll sell you a set of 14" bowling ball caps at cost ill send you a pm.

Promise to keep that s/e nice and stock.

I had one but it got stolen and stripped.Thank g.o.d i removed the pmd seats and 15" N89 wheels before it happened.
