Torque Arms and Lower Control Arms
Anyone know a good brand of lower control arms and torque arms? Anyone have any experience with how good certain ones are for getting power to the ground?

What about Edelbrock's torque arms? Are they any good? And also..is there really a difference between ones that mount from the transmission and ones that mount from the chasis?

Edelcrap's are pure junk. Do a search on Kandied's name and you'll see some pics of the one that ripped the threaded ends out of the tubes.
Yes there is a differance. The x-member mounted ones take the load of the tail of the trans which means no more broken trans mounts and possibly breaking tail shafts.
I'm sure there are other reasons, I just woke up and the coffee hasn't started flowing yet.

I have a spohn tq arm, very nice looking product but I had a few problems on install. Nothing a hammer didnt fix
It is now clucking up front as the video posted a few months ago shows. I'm thinking up ideas on how to fix it.
I'd still buy the product anyday though. Very nice looking, very solid, performs nicely.
I'm still on stock control arms. Depending on how you use your car and how much you drive it makes a difference on these.

Amen to that. I got a t-56 Spohn T/A set-up for sale. Besides the driveshaft loop hitting the torque arm and vibrating everything lose on my car, it hooks fantastic . I'm keeping one car stricly for the track and one that will ride as smooth as possible, so I might even sell my LCAs. I put stock 4th gen ones on now. If you intend to put lots of miles on the car, recondiser a T/A that bolts to the X-member. It realy changes the feel of the car.
