Rear Control Arms
If anyone is thinking of reinforcing your rear sup. lower control arms you should check this out. I mean this is no sub. for a set of Spohn lower control arms but the price is right. About $6 apiece at your local Chev Dealer (see pic #21 #10000097).

No I don't but I bought two of them. They are made out of steel and are: Center to center length = around 5 5/8"
Width = 1 3/16"
Thickness = .105"
If you will look at your lower control arms you will see a series of (6) holes (3 per side) and I assume that they are 5 5/8" apart and can be installed from the bottom with out even removing the lower control arm. I don't know though which two holes (there are (3)) to use yet but that should work itself out. There are four bolts required and there size is as follows: MM 10x1.5x55. With a little work I am sure you could use std nuts and bolts.

Theses were used on the G-bodies to mount the sway bar without collapsing the a-arm. Some camaro arms already have them, at least the ones that I've messed with have.

Yep, I've noticed that some camaros from 82-86 (atleast from what I've seen in the junkyards) got them. At the time I figured why not, and snagged a couple for myself. In theory, they box the lca's in that 5 or so inch section for which they bolt into.. gains are quite negligible, however they cost next to nothing. I think a better way to go about this would be to buy some square tubing that would fit inside the lca, cut it to fit snugly between the bushings, drill them to match with the holes in the lca and bolt them in... or just weld plates in like other people have done.
Here are pics of the brackets I used.
