bent panhard messed up my rear?

My bent and twisted panhard.

IF the panhard is bent and twisted like mine was
can this cause my drivline vibrations
and eventually mess up my rear?

Just replace it. I busted mine, but I didn't wait to see if there were any problems. It's easy to replace- an hour tops.

Maybe you can re-use parts from your old rear? That sucks that someone sold you a messed up rearend, you should try to get your $$ back. Yeah my green car has the 82/83 factory hood, really light.

I contacted the seller and he still insisted the rear
was tight when he had it and said maybe the axle
bearings are bad or axles.

If I ever get the car good again I will try to get one of those
hoods one day.

Not cheap, but man are they worth it. Their even lighter than fibeglass. I never put it on a scale, but I bet it's in the 20 lb range. It's actually one of the first composites GM ever used.

I guess I'm lucky, I got this one for free. But on the bad side, its been abused by idiots before I got it, from bad paint prep to bad paint and even what appears to be a surf board epoxy repair kit LOL. I dont care though, its on my drift car and I got 2 extra hoods for whever it finally gets destroyed.

The rear I sold him was fine and I even offered an exchange for another rear know to be fine from a running car, not that my name was mentioned. His problems are much deeper than portrayed . This guy is out there and maybe needs to come back down to earth. The lesson, don't be so quick to judge somebody based on a one sided story.

Hey I didnt judge anyone. I gave him advice that I would give anyone in the same situation. I've been there before, bought something that didnt work. He's lucky that you were kind enough to offer another rearend. No need to go all defensive on me.

Point taken. Just felt I should defend myself since only one side was being told. Dave and I are still on good terms, but wished he would have come to me before posting anything.
