Lug nut keys?

The factory lug nuts that have a special end on them. I got 4 of the lugs off, but the one special lug that has a weird shape to it, I'm stuck with. Where would I find this on the car? I looked where the spare tire is, but there's nothing.. Any ideas?

I looked everywhere.. They must've been stolen.. Could I use an open end and a long pipe?

Any real GM dealer should be able to help you.

Provided it is the factory wheel locks, they will have those keys floating around there somewhere.

U can pound a socket on them, but its not always a guarantee.

The stripped lug nut remover tools will work awesome. they have teeth on them like "turbo" sockets and work awesome, just dont expect to ever use it again lol

So I have the '91 16" aluminum wheels and there is one mysterious lug up front that matches the description of the one you guys are talking about... I don't have enough space in the wheel to put my easy out on it... any suggestions?

If you are in a rush,

If they are older OEM GM locks (not Mcguards!), you can punch out the star section with a centerpunch and a club hammer as the metal there is very thin. A 1/2 inch extension will then fit almost perfectly in the hole.

These locks will have a star shaped grove cut in them that the key fits into, similar to the one shown above. Later OEM ones have groves on the sides and a black plastic cap that screws on.

If you got a welder, just weld another lug nut on it. But you wont be able to re-use them after that.
