Lakewood traction lift bars and the inherent lack of usefulness
i removed my lakewood bars cause im leaning towards handleing over straight line, while they did work and eliminated my wheel hop, i always wondered about why all the brackets and why it worked against the torque arm, well i found it interesting, on an old 3 years old thread i found that lakewood actually designed the bars to eliminate the torque arm!? and suggestions where thrown about and some person on another website actually had spohn make custom secondays lca's for the bars and modified the brackets a bit and welded the whole thing to the car, maybe this is why they did not work up to their potential, there was nothing about that in the instructions.
