18x9 18x10

Hey, got a few questions here. First one, I'm looking to get ROH RT's 18x9 up front and 18x10 in the rear, with 245/40 and 285/35. I would like to install the C5 brake package front and rear. With these in mind, how would my car look, and will I be able to turn my wheels fully? Its an 86 Iroc by the way with a 350TPI and its ganna have the Eibach Pro Kit under it as well. I really dont want my rear tires to stick out to far, if u guys know what I mean. I'm sure somebody will say I should have searched it, but I tried.been reading about it for a few days but it got pretty confusing to me. Thanks a lot in advance...

Thomas

6 or 6.25" bs in rear and 5.5bs front, not sure if the fronts will rub at steering lock though. read the link, lot's of good info in there.

Thanks for the link and the info, I got those numbers from Group A, they are selling the rims and the tires as a package and thats what they would put on there... Would the front look bad with 245?

Thanks

The sidewalls would go inward from the lip of the rim.

a 245 would be better on an 8" rim in my opinion

Thanks guys, I decided to go with ROH RT 17x8 up front with 245 and 17x9 in the rear with 275. That combo should look good on our cars shouldn't it?

Yup. The sidewalls will bulge out past the rim lip a little bit. A look I personally like. Plus the 17's wont be as harsh as the 18's and new tires will be cheaper when the time comes.

Re: 18x9 18x10

I have 18x8.5 irocs all around and they look great but in the front they do rub whit out a 1/4 inch spacer so u have to have it all around or they look wider in front. But that's the widest I would do in front. That's on a 87 z28 that came whit original iroc wheels from factory.
