Where is the sound coming from? Is it low speed turning? If it seems to be coming from the strut towers, your mount bearings could be bad, which is one explanation for noise while turning. It it's high speed turning, could just be the unibody.

Check your sway bar endlink bushings. When the bushings wear away, its nothing but bare metal connecting the control arm to the sway bar. Mine made horrible popping and rattling noises until I replaced the endlinks.

$5 each, and it will also make your car handle MUCH better.

Could be a front lower control arm bushing also, but I tend to agree check your end link

I have rebuilt my entire suspension. I get the same noise from the front passenger side area. At first I thought it was the spring moving around, then I thought maybe a ball joint. I also wondered if the welds on the SFC's have broke. Everything is new. Mine does it at slow speeds, like going into a parking lot. Not trying to high jack your thread, just trying to help.
