TACreations has "stock" 37mm Front Sway Bar ??

The guys at TACreations have always seemed to have thier head on straight,...... but I think the hot weather has gotten to them. They are advertizing a "stock" hollow 37mm Front sway bar. It's claimed to have been measured with a digital micrometer.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...spagenameZWDVW

Seems to me like the mic was not used correctly or the guy measuring it leaned the mic when taking that reading. ANYONE ever seen a hollow 37mm Front Sway before ???

Sounds like a Type-O bar.

Re-paint; NOPE

Type-O; NOPE

We've been specializing in Camaro and Firebird parts since 1985

The "37mm" was written into the description and the title - I'm surprised they got it wrong with all the experience at TAC.

Its probably a mistake of some kind. Call em up and ask, I order stuff from them all the time, and never had any kind of misinformation.

Re: TACreations has "stock" 37mm Front Sway Bar ??

I have the 36mm sway bar. One of the guys in the club has a sway bar off on earlier camaro (83-86, don't remeber now) that is bigger than mine. It just looked a bit bigger when we compared them. It could very well be the 37mm one. Although I could be wrong.

As far as I know GM never made a 37 for thirdgen cars. Some 86-92 Firebirds were equipped with the 36 as well as some 89-92 Camaros. Earlier Camaros, unless the bar was replaced, would have had something smaller. My 85 IROC was originally equipped with a 34, for example.

Maybe it's a 36mm, and they just failed to wipe it off first, picking up 1 mm, due to dirt!

Were the 36mm/24mm bars solid or hollow?

The 36 (and some 34) were hollow, the 24 solid.
