Installing Hotchkis RLCAs and Panhard

Hey guys I just bought a pair of Hotckhis RLCAs and Panhard rod locally for super cheap and I'm wanting to install them a little later today. I got a question though. I looked up the instructions and they say I would have to drop the springs out of the way. Now, is there a way to avoid that step altogether? Can I take the tension off of the LCA bolts by putting a jack on the diff and then rest a jackstand underneath one side so the spring wont shoot out?

i don't remember taking the springs out when i did mine. maybe they are concerned about them falling out unexpectedly if you take tension off of them. i put the rear end on jackstands and installed mine. didn't have a problem with the springs.

Sam all ya gotta do is jack up the diff, throw some jack stands under the rear and unbolt everything... Its really not that bad!

Thats what I figured, but I just needed to make sure about the springs. I'm not too comfortable around springs...

Yeah just make sure you jack up the rear tight so that they are secure under the car and do the LCA's one and a time and do the panhard bar last!

Will do, Thanks man! Hopefully I wont break any bolts. I soaked them down overnight as a precaution.

Nice to see that you didn't break any bolts and I'm assuming no fingers either since there is no mention of tragic mishaps LOL

I have to ask though, what is with the multicolor exhaust??? LOL

The previous owner was Puerto Rican, and he sprayed it with the colors of the PR flag. Yeah, I'm swapping the muffler out.
