What can I adjust to bring the tire more inward?

My front tires sit like this: Passenger----> l --- \ <-----driver

What can do I ask a shop to adjust to make them like this: l --- l ?

I'd look at the upper strut mounts first. Maybe 1 side has loosened just enough to allow to slide all the way inwards.

I take it that is looking at the car from the front? That is camber, as mentioned its an adjustment of the strut mount. Negative camber is tilted inward at the top like your diagram, the factory spec calls for 1 degree positive but I would not do that I'd run them at zero or slightly negative (half a degree) if you get a new alignment.

Thanks guys, right after I posted this I thought about those. I pulled them as far as I could to match opposite the pass side and it looks much better.

How are your tires? You'll need a good alignment now to save the tires from any future damage.

you really need to have the car aligned. The tires may "look" better, but will get eaten up real quick if they are just eye-balled into place

Re: What can I adjust to bring the tire more inward?

There's a special tool required to do alignments on third gens. When you loosen the adjustment bolts at the top, the strut can move forward and backward as well as inward and outward.

Simply moving it inward or outward to make the tire more straighter with the camber will usually screw up the caster.

Take it in to an alignment shop and have the alignment done properly. The best you can do is eyeball the alignment just to get it to the shop. Don't worry about telling the shop what you think needs to be done. Just tell them that you need a front end alignment.
