Hey guys i need pics of iroc-z preferably 86-89 with 16 inch original iroc wheels and 50 profile tire ...im not to sure about the clearance issues with the sportline and pro kit...ik its been asked a million times n beleive me ive read almost all n still cant get a clear picture of one.. n for those who have em have u had any issues of clearance, ride comfort and having passengers on board with u? Were as the car maybe scraping more due to extra passengers? Much appreciated n sry for the long post.

 

Oh n almost forgot the use will be for daily driving..no autox or tracks or drag strips just daily use..taking the misses out to dinner or movie stuff like that...i also will be using a set of kyb gr2 shocks n struts with my choice of springs.

 

Have you looked at the official lowered thirdgen thread. Look just a few posts down from this one on this suspension board. LOTS of pics in there.

Hey SiCKRs how does ur car ride with the sportlines in terms of comfort n scrapes n bottoming out? Im in ventura so im guessing the streets are the same as were u live.

 

Im leaning towards the sportlines just worried the drop will be too much n not be able to get passengers on or have to low of a stance it will be scraping the undercarriage everywere.

 

it doesnt scrape while driving where it does is in my drive way when i go in reverse but even my not lowered car scrapes... as for undercarriage only the sfc and tranny crossmember scrape.

 

SiCKRs u scrape ur crossmember from ur T56 tranny right? Or the 700r4? Cuz i have the 700r4 it would suk to mess up the crossmember.

alright cool thanks SiCKRs..i will be installing the sportlines soon. how does the car feel when u have passengers on? Does it scrape more than usuall like on bumps and stuff like that?

 

do you ever hit the bumpstops?

 

never have gone through bumps but im sure it does scrape because my stock height car hits speed bumps
