The engine is from a 92 Chevy P/U.
Did this engine have the same heads and cam as the engines that came in TBI for the Fbodys?
I hope this makes sense.
If not, what was different from the Trucks 350 TBI to the Fbodys 350 TBI?

they were different, but just as crappy, search lo5 and that will give you lots of info

 

Actually there weren't any 350 TBI F-bodies.

 

trucks had non roller cams.

The car Lo5 in the B-body gm cars did have a roller cam.

 

They were rated at 210 hp and 300 ft-lbs.

 

teh block didn't have a roller in it, but it is the same block. it has all teh provisions to swap your roller set up right into it if you wanted to do teh conversion. all non-marine useage 1 piece rear seal blocks (87-up) have teh provisions for the lifter guide retainer("spider").
an LT4 hot cam and a tall dual plan eintake with an adaptor plate would be nice in a 350 hehe

This is Silverado's engine, and i am trying to get some info on it. Its Hp numbers and Tq numbers. What would be the best heads for this engine as well and cam.

Would i need to convert my valvetrain if i wanted to put some aftermarket heads on it.

Would the exhaust manifold off of a 305 TPI fit onto this 350 TBI?

Thanks everyone that has responded. The guy that owns the truck doesn't want the engine anymore and is wanting to part it out cheap. He wants $500 for the engine and he will take it out of the truck and install it onto the car. I would only have to pay for the new oil, oil filter, gaskets, and radiator fluid. If i buy this engine, i am going to put a new water pump on it that flows just as much if not more than what the water pumps in our cars do. He will also put my TPI intake and all onto this engine. All this for 500 bucks. This is why i have been trying to get as much info on these 350 TBI's. Would i need to reprogram my computer chip for this 350 or no? The TPI intake is off of the '91 305. I got a flat tappet cam 350 tbi block out of a subarban and in my camaro with just headers and a mild cam and 65 # injectors I got it up to 317 hp.
