What to get with the LT 1 cam?

What to get with the LT 1 cam?

I'm going to get the LT 1 cam for my 92 RS tbi. Im just wondering what I should get with it too keep the engine strong and tuned properly. Pushrods, new springs, any idea's what I need with this cam??

springs are supposed to help alot. id do that for sure they are only around 40$ for a good set. i hear that it will make the car run so much better to if you have alot of miles.

A set of K Motion springs are only $42 , check summit and jegs.

Second the Springs, Timing set and intake manifold.

I didn't do these right away, but when I did later on, big difference. I am running a different intake than the Edelbrock, but you would need a cowl scoop to run it.

I am going to be replacing my springs Wensday, due to the fact that the stockers are floating the valves above 4500 rpms now. I expect to pick up some nice time when I am done with this, the longtube headers, dual exhaust and new Crane Gold Race Rockers.

to install teh cam you will need/want, new springs, intake gaskets, and a new timing set.

Can you run 1.6 rockers with the LT-1 cam
and appropriate springs ?
Any gotchas ?

No Gotchas. I am ordering 1.6 Crane Gold Race Rockers in two days for mine.

1.6 rockers can be done with the LT1 cam, it will make for a longer tuning process and less vacuum at idle.
