TBI to Carb adapter

hey, just wanted to let everyone know, summit does have these adapters in stock. i was surprized, seeing jegs and paw wanted between 2 and 4 weeks because they had to be specially ordered. i ordered the holley tbi to spreadbore adapter, but it happens to work on both spread and square manifolds (i was given a edelbrock performer spreadbore intake). $45 is a hard pill to swallow for a machined piece of aluminum, but i'll survive. one step closer to finishing the 400 swap. now just gotta finish my tranny......

i'm hoping it will fit. i believe it should because it doesnt appear to be higher. i havent closed my hood all the way, let alone put the air filter on because i'm still in the final stages of swapping in a motor.

i have the edelbrock performer intake and the holley adapter. My stock air cleaner fits but i dont know about an open element. I also had trouble with the cables being the incorrect lenth. Youll probably want to make a custom bracket for your tv and throttle cables. Egr doesnt seem to work easily, either.

I have the Performer RPM intake with the Holley adaptor. A 14x3 adaptor fits under the hood without a spacer, but I couldnt fit the stud/wingnut on there using a Summit open element.

that perfromer rpm intake is for the L31 vortec heads only. Just get the regualr performer rpm intake if you have your stock heads.

Performer RPM (non-EGR) #7101

That'd prolly be the one you're looking for.
