more fuel will not add horsepower if u dont need more fuel... as in ur situation cuz it seems that ur car is all stock... correct me if im wrong. If anything it will rob power because there will be too much fuel in the combustion chamber. More fuel is not always a good thing... but fuel injectors wont do anything so dont waste ur money.

Ultimate TBI mods is a good place to start. https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...imatetbi.shtml
Performance chip can help some but you may want to wait for the cam and go custom or preferrably burn your own chip.
Then 3.42 gears and posi will be your next biggest seat of the pants gain.
Followed by a complete exhaust change from the engine back with headers, CAT and CAT back system for a single cat TPI car.
Then when you feel real good change to a LT1 cam that you will read about with some searching of the forum and the intake while you have it off to change the cam.
If your running an automatic car, I would recommend changing the torque converter at the same time as the cam to make up for the low end torque loss of the cam. A 95+ 4.3L S10 converter is a good low buck converter that stalls 600 rpms over stock and should suffice. You can always go with an expensive aftermarket stall and gain more but its all in the budget that you have to work with.

well thx for that info. one of my friends told me i could get some fuel injectors and add 15-30 hp. im not sure if its my fuel injectors thats makeing my gas mileage suck or not but i was gonna get some performance fuel injectors while i was at it. i was also thinking about msd ignition, plugs, wires, etc. and some underdrive pullies. any suggestions for those?
Your friend has no idea what he's talking about. In order to make optimum power you need the correct amount of air and fuel to burn. Bigger injectors will do nothing but make your car run rich and you will actually lose power.

ACTUALLY, although before I say this, fuel injectors are too much money for too little power on a stock car, spend a lil more money and find something that will help your car run better, faster, longer, don't just do what someone says, look it up. ANYWAY, one year during the thirdgen run, they increased the 305 TPI by 10 hp by changing the fuel injectors. That's all they did. So you can get gains, but there are much easier and cheaper ways to gain 10 hp. Shiit, just remove that little thing that connects the stock air intake assembly to the exhaust manifolds, course I live in Florida, but man that felt like 10 hp to me
Thats crap, you will see no gains at all from bigger injectors, you might actually see gains from slightly smaller injectors and upping the psi on them. Biggers injectors will do nothing but hurt you.
