how does this cam look

im building a new 350 and will be looking at getting this cam. its gonna be all forged engine, with weiand stealth team G single intake manifold,dart iron eagles, holley 670 tbi, hooker headers and catback.

Looks like a pretty decent cam, should be pretty aggressive I think. Are you going to a pre 87 350 block now? That's not a roller cam.

correct me if im wrong, but those are two different intakes...

that cam looks pretty good, what are you trying to get out of your car?

A forged bottom end may be overkill unless you plan to spray. You'll never max out a 2bbl TBI system where it would need forged goodies.

If you already have a rebuilt roller one piece rear main 350 why are you getting a new one, just out of curiousity?

that was my first choice. however going to the cam one step hotter rated for 6000 rpms come spring. possibly a mistake?

yes i am using a pre 87 block. my current engine has low oil pressure and a rod knock. i didnt' build the last motor. im building this one. all forged cuz i am spraying. and i dont understand what ur tryign to say in ur last post ronny? but i ordered the cam already last night. engine will hopefully be installed within 2-3 weeks.

in my sig i list current mods. that was good for 222 rear wheel HP @ 5100 rpms. i think the cam is holding me back! i was gonna swap to cam you listed in spring but now feel i should go one step hotter and also will install 3.55 gears to up cruise rpms. manual trans. that cam you listed is rated for 5500 rpms. next step hotter is 6000.

i found the best (largest) cam as far as max performance highest duration that is computer friendly with 114 LSA is comp cams. all other i saw were 108-110 LSA around 230@ .05. i dont think those LSA's are workable for tuning.

i am at 222 rear wheel at 5100 rpm. i bet at 5800 will be at 252 rear wheel or 310 at flywheel.
