I got mine from GM parts direct and got the spring from lon at Top Down Solutions along with some instructions how to use it. I got the delay valve from napa. It is much easier to buy the whole kit from him. When I bought it he did not have the kit available yet.

Adjusting it is "trial and error." Lon will provide you with a refference instructions that state every 2.5 turns from flush if roughly 1 psi. He will tell you how to set it. Here is how I run mine. I plugged the vaccum line to where I capped off the therman device.

Ha I knew that was going to be your next question. I take a lot of heat from others because of my precise routing It is not as easy as you think to route it out of the way. The vacuun line is stiff and is not easy to work with. Also, you have to contend with the open element, spacer ring (if equiped), and the long vacuum main comming out of the regulator (I alread bent it to better accomodate). I have been too lazy to redirect it in another mannor.

This is something you have to be very carefull with. If you go to much you will kink the wall of the regulator before the line bends. So, remember that the wall is the week link here. Use a pair of pliars and go really slow. You may want to heat it up as you goto make it a little more plyable. You do not have to move it far. It also helps to cut some of the length down.

I used a straight piece of slightly larger diameter tubing over the end of the tube to be bent, kind of like a mini "cheater-bar". As SC mentions be carefull. I held the short straight portion with a long nose plier as I un-bent the fitting.

Some people just cut the fitting shorter beyond the bend. I routed my vac line as shown. I drileld a hole and used a 1/4" drive socket and handle to bend the hole in the spacer so the vac line conforms to the wall as flush as possible.

Cut the bent part of the fitting off of the fpr.

Go to AutloZone, etc and buy some 90* vac fittings.

I used some of the hard plastic lines that were left over from EGR removal etc.

Using a dremel tool, open up the rear of the TB where the fittings screw into the injector pod. Open it just enough to fit your hard line thru.

Install the 90* fitting on the fpr and route the hard plasic line out the rear of the TB beside the fuel fitting. Cut off the hard plastic line and splice on rubber vac line of choice and route as needed.

This way, none of the airflow is obstructed with hose, etc.

Or, you could just route it out the bottom of your air cleaner and not need to dremel the TB.

I need to get some pics of my TB up (when I get the camera!).

Agreed. This sounds like the best way to run it.
