Ugly eye sore...

I installed an open element filter a few weeks back and was very pleased with it. But now the ugly eye sore on the factory exhaust manifold on the driver side shows its face. I am talking about the plate on the manifold that conected with the thermical device.

What did yall do about this? I do plan on replacing the headers after a while but until then I am look for a fix to this. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I beadblasted a set of manifolds and painted them grey and plugged all the egr holes, looks factory.

ive been thinking of taking mine off and doing that. as well as painting the intake manifold, and getting new valve covers. i took some degreaser and a pressure washer to my bay a few weeks ago, and now like 75% of the paint on my intake is gone. and that valve thing on my heater hoses rubbed the paint off of the valve cover so now rust has set in.

I stripped my spare motor, valve covers intake manifolds brackets bolts, all are in the process of being switched out. all of it is painted its just taking the time to drain the cooling system, also i have to get egr delete plates made and im struggling to get the passenger manifold off.

i have the ac removed and the next step is to route all the coolant hoses into the empty condensor box.

then following that ill be eliminating/hiding/relocating as many wires as i can to clean up the motor compartment.
