New to 3rd Gen Family
Hey, I just puchased a 92 L03 RS. A paint job is needed, and the interior needs attention, but I would really like to focus on the engine. As of now the only mod that the previous owner has done is upgraded the cam to a Federal Mogul Pro-3000 street/strip cam. Appanently this mod gave the RS a really aggressive sound which is cool but that all I know. I have alot of ideas that I would like to apply but I need guidance. If anyone is interested in helping me out, thank you.

main things to remember on any sbc is breath in (heads, intake) breath out (headers catback) and there are things that effect a lil of everything...cam, tbi, injectors....these cars also have a week suspension that can deff. use upgrades read the stickies theres enough to keep u reading for a year youll find it all from interior to chip tunning and everything in between if u ask a question and dont get a answer on here its because its been beat to death a hundred times and a quick search would yeld u answers....not being a dick just speaking from experience. and WELCOME to my favorite site on the web TGO.

Thanks for the welcome
This is my first time on a forum and i'm not sure of all the posting secrets and routine, so please bear with me.
Basically I just wanna know what I should start with first. I have the stats for the cam if anyone wants to know them. If anyone wants to pm me i'll be for a while doing research. I have so many questions

First off welcome brother. These are the best cars in the world man. The parts are inexpensive compared to other cars and are so much fun to work on. I am sure that you will hear this again, but there are great stickies up top of the forum under TBI. The guys who wrote them and have replied to them have put some great info there on where to start. I would start by reading all of them.
Good luck and welcome again.
Bill

Actually I get all my parts primarly from online and autozone.
There are a few good salvage yards right outside downtown tampa. I think there is one called copher's. That is a like a u pull it place. Pretty good. There is a also a place in Tampa that only sells thirdgen stuff. I can remember the name. When I dig it up I will send you a pm with the info.
But, mainly I get stuff from ebay, jegs, and summit.
Also every now and then you can find a good deal on the classified boards on here.
